About Dariapur Lichutola

In the struggle for the independence of Bangladesh and the liberation of the masses, countless children of Meherpur district have sacrificed their lives and have become immortal in the pages of history. Many artists, writers, and writers have enriched the honor and dignity of this district and the entire nation through their invaluable creations. In this regard, the importance of this district is immense. Jahid Hasan Rajib of Dariapur village, along with some social workers, politicians, prominent individuals, and educated youth under Mujibnagar Upazila of this district, formed an organization with the aim of changing the political, social, and cultural perspectives of the people of the area. The main work of the organization is to collect, preserve, and exhibit local culture, roots, and local and foreign history and traditions. Most of the population of the area, which has been neglected for a long time, is poor, hard-working, and lives below the poverty line.

Bengali nationalism, believing in the spirit of the Liberation War, human values, education, free thought, democratic, secular, progressive ideas and establishing a society with equal rights for all people. The anti-British movement of the firemen of the Fire Age, the struggle of students for their language, the thunderous poetry of the greatest poet of the 7th century Bengali nation, and the lives of all the people who sacrificed their lives in the Liberation War. Dariapur Lichutola will work to collect, preserve, present the history and heritage of the world-famous creative works and spread the spirit of the Liberation War among everyone, as well as to present the history of the Bengali nation to the world court with the participants in the unfinished liberation struggle. The history of the struggle of the Bengali nation is hundreds of years old. In continuation of that, our goal is fixed – “This journey is from darkness to light, from captivity to freedom, from superstition to reality, from despair to hope, the expectation of the victory of modernity over subculture, truth over lies, and good over evil.”

We envision a society that moves from darkness to light, from oppression to freedom, from superstition to reason, and from despair to hope, where truth prevails over falsehood and humanity over injustice.
